Safe Hydrotherapy Experiences

Beautorium.com

Happy 4th of July Everyone & Welcome Back

As you have been following, you'll remember that I have been talking about hydrotherapy and the results of hydrotherapy in my previous blogs. I also touched on creating the serene hydrotherapy environment. This will be my last blog session on hydrotherapy. Going forward after this last hydrotherapy, I will discuss colors and what they mean. Be sure to check back to read my color revelation guide. But for now, I'm going to finish the hydrotherapy session up with safety.

There are safety precautions you should take when using hydrotherapy.

1. Never sit in water hotter than you can physically stand to prevent scalding
2. Do not use hydrotherapy if you suffer hypertension
3. Drink lots of water during and after to prevent dehydration as with hydrotherapy you will sweat all your fluids out
4. If you are not use to hydrotherapy, start out by soaking for only 5 minutes and then increase to longer periods
5. When standing up, use caution to prevent slips and falls, especially if you are a newbie as you may experience dizziness.

These are the main precautions to take when indulging in hydrotherapy. Especially if you are new to the procedure. Believe me, I learned the hard way. My very first attempt to indulge in hydrotherapy, I of course thought I was prepared, especially with my handy dandy book Heal Thyself for Health & Longevity

Unfortunately, I just read the actual procedure part and of course as we most do, not the warning part. Needless to say, now looking back on it is quite humorous but at the time, it wasn't too funny.

I ran my water as hot as I could stand it and put my pure lavandar oil in the water. I then eased myself in and layed back. Like the book said, I elevated my feet at a 45 degree angle, closed my eyes and relaxed. I was so amazed at the sweat that came pouring out of me and was excited because I just knew I lost 10 pounds. The only problem was, I did not drink any water what so ever. So, when I stood up to get out, I got so dizzy and I was extremely over heated.

I eased my way out the tub and quickly stepped out the hot bathroom into the hall to get to cool air. I grabbed my book and read a little more to the warnings and by golly, there it was big as day, "DRINK PLENTY OF WATER TO REPLACE BODILY FLUIDS". So, not even bothering to get dressed or dry off, I eased my dizzy self to the kitchen, which I must say insulted my kids by having to look at my undressed body (but I didn't care at that point as it was an emergency), and once in the kitchen, I immediately gulped down 3 cups of water and immediately felt better.

My lesson from this experience was to always read all the way through when you are taking on new healing regimes, and keep a glass of water next to me and drink it while relaxing in my hydrotherapy treatment.

As a special treat, I'm going to share with you one of my favorite places to get all natural, all green beauty supplies and hydrotherapy treats. You may have noticed the banner at the top of my blog. Welcome Back,

I thought now would be a great time as some of you have become familiar with my blogs to share with you why I'm doing what I do.

There are several reasons, however the primary being a campaign for Youth Entreprenuer. I have embarked on a journey which came to me about 5 years ago while I suffered a life altering seizure. It was confirmed when I looked at my daughters and saw things from not a mother's perspective but from that of a human.

Thus, I began my plans for a Non Profit Organization called Youth Entreprenuer, dedicated to helpin minority children develop and successfully operate their own business based on their own unique passions.

I used my daughters as guinne pigs and started the program unofficially with them. My oldest daughter loves skateboards, thus started her own skateboard business. As a mother I had no idea that this girl was so knowledgeable about skateboards. In addition, her art and drawings are only an enhancement to her business as she develops skins and designs for boards.

Basically, she is in the beginning stages of her planning and marketing strategies, but as I started assisting her, we knew that this was totally obtainable and that she could do it and have her own business at the age of 15 and that it could be very successful.

This started me thinking that if I'm able to show my daughter how to gain an independence and life long self sufficiency, then others could follow. Thus, I began recruiting, planning and getting all the legalities in order. My main obstacle is that all is being self funded by me. So, I decided that if I build a website based on my fashion passion and my passion for retail sales, I'd raise the money in addition to giving the kids a hands on experience where they can actually get paid for learning. However, they must invest 70% of their income in an interest earning money market account which allows them the opportunity to have their own money for college or simply continuing to invest in their business.

Therefore, every blog I post, every link back to www.stylishdivafashions.com , every social network I join is with the sole intent to drive people to www.stylishdivafashions.com and with the intent on offering quality products that my followers will actually purchase. In addition, with every converted click from all who visit my website, 70% of the proceeds go to Youth Entreprenuer.

So, I appreciate everyone who joins and follows and appreciate those who go to www.stylishdivafashions.com and browse through. Please also note that you will see banner ads on the top of this page and our other blogs and these are a part of our affiliate partner programs which is just another way of bringing in the income. So, be sure to click on the one's that interest you and help us get these kids in a better life position.

Thanks again

Creating A Serene Hydrotherapy Environment

Thank you for joining me as we continue to embark on our journey regarding hydrotherapy and ridding yourself of stress. If, you read my last blog, you will remember me talking about creating a serene environment in your bathroom prior to your hydrotherapy treatment.

Here are a few ways I create that perfect atmosphere in which I can relax and enjoy my hydrotherapy experience.

1. Soy based candles
2. Soothing Classical or Smooth Jazz Music
3. A Luscious Green Fern Plant
4. Energizing Colors such as green
5. Royal Colors such as purple

Now, I'm going to talk about how item number 1 on my list works in conjunction with hydrotherapy. My favorite candles are from DiamondCreek Candles as seen in the banner above. Specifically because they offer a huge variety, they are made of soy/paraffin and they are hand poured. I enjoy the lingering and luscious scents they put off which works very well in conjunction with hydrotherapy. There are so many hydro/aromatherapy ways to develop that special atmosphere for relaxation and for energizing.

When picking my candles from DiamondCreek, I find it easy and not at all complex as they have a section dedicated specifically for aromatherapy and they are so great, they even inform you of what each scent assists you with. For example, I mentioned above that I decide on colors that represent energy (green) and royalty(purple). Well, my normal purchase then for relaxation and sticking to my color is the Lavender (Diamond Candle). It represents the royalty in it's coloring and assists with Flu, Depression, Insomnia & Hypertension.

Therefore, this is the perfect combination for my relaxation hydrotherapy because if you remember from a previous post, I mentioned that I also use pure lavander oil in the bath.

In addition, I'm very partial to the Basil Sage Mint (Aroma Diamond Candle)in the morning to awaken and uplift me, which goes very well with the eucalyptus oil mentioned earlier.

I invite you to come back later this week when I introduce the other points I mentioned above for creating that serene bathroom environment. In the meantime, don't forget to go to www.stylishdivafashions.com to get your free book Heal Thyself for Health and Longevity. This book will take you to new heights of wellness which is why I'm giving it away for free to the first 5 people to join the website club.

I look forward to seeing you all again as we discuss relaxation and healthy habits for feeling designer on the inside as well as looking designer on the outside.

Warm Regards,
